Responding to poll results that put her even behind Dwayne Johnson in securing a spot on the Democratic ticket, Harris said, “I think there are all kinds of polls that will tell you a variety of things; I’ve never heard polls. If I had listened to the polls, I wouldn’t have run for my first or second office, and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here in this interview.”
In recent weeks, Harris has appeared on shows like The view and MSNBC The Rachel Maddow Show to discuss the details of his book and the loss of the 2024 presidential election. He continued: “There are many… who have capitulated from day one, who are bending the knee at the feet of a tyrant, I think for many reasons, including that they want to be on the side of power, because they want to perhaps get a merger approved or avoid an investigation.”
